The Month of December

Cont'd visits with Mom on Sun's.

Standing next to our "Jack" & "Barbara" stockings.
White elephant gift exchange & dinner w/ Heber DUP's.
At home after our 1st Mo Tab/OTS performance.
This was after 2 nites already performing our community's Handel "Messiah."
Directly after the Mo Tab/OTS ones, I then played in church
(w/ a rehearsal during Sun. Sch) ~
finishing it by participating in a musical fireside.
At the end with violin in hand & flying parachute in the other.
Our differing roles.
Wonderful costuming for the dancers.
The candy bomber story was a "smashing hit!"
My view at the Conference Center.

Oh Christmas Tree
My good friend from home, David Stevenson, & his wife, Ruth,
who both sing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
With Melanie Dewey, who often accompanies me for single gigs
(in Bells on Temple Square), & Joseph Ogden (sings in the choir).
Gorgeous window corner.
Purple/lavender is my favorite color!
Love the feather look at the top.
O More Christmas Trees!
My wonderful visiting teaching partner, Scoshi.
So grateful to Debra Poulson & her hus, Seth,
who always let me stay over-nite w/ them
for our concerts.
Gail & Vohn are nothing but a support.
A Rose from a Rose
After 10 days straight performing/rehearsing
I capped it off with 250 stu's on stage!
Went extremely well . . .
nothing but compliments, thankfully!

The mound of instruments I had to tune before the concert!

Interesting Day Yesterday

A Present from a Student:

Lovely, isn't it?

This was left on my doorstep last nite:

next to the trash

I know his kind.
If he really loved me . . .
he would have taken it out!  ;-)

The Sunday After Thanksgiving

Got tons of compliments on this scarf.  All day!
From lots of different people.
More experimenting after a long day of
church service.
I forgot to set my alarm & woke up late.
Drove to the Temple the nite before.
Met some good friends there.
Ran to do Spoken Word.
Went to see my Mom.
Got Home-taught.
Attended church.
Did tithing settlement.
Visit taught.
Dashed to a Messiah rehearsal.
Took pic's.
Whew!
Home ~ yay!!

Story of my life
for the past 12 yrs or more.
~Except~
I used to attend Firesides
(when I lived closer
& not always got visit/home taught ~
even tho I NEVER missed a month).
Met lots of 60+ yr old
men
b/c none of the ones my age
would attend.
But/so I
kept serving.
