Happy Halloween!

Today we had a chili feast at our school & I got to eat one of these:

and some of this (which is a fav of mine):

I also had a cute cellist bring me one of these:

It was a great day at school & I got a lot done today!
Happy Halloween

A Yr-ly Tradition

It's here again!
It was kinda fun when I didn't have to teach
any of my classes at the grade school
so I could sit & listen to
acoustic guitar
& original song singing
yesterday.
The guy who did it inspired the stu's w/ his
love of music
& inspiring presentation.
He taught them how to make a rainstorm similar to this.
He talked about choices we have in life
not only to express ourselves thru art/music,
but also
to make people happy
& how that "attracts" more happiness into our own lives ~
ironically.

Makes You Think

AMEN!huh!
Makes you think
enough saidjust love

The Mo Tab Goes "Savvy"

Closing Nite ~ Les Mis!

The Leads

Called to the stage

Received a gift cert to Maurices

So glad Lois could come!
She just retired from the Utah Symphony, plays in the OTS, & now resides in Midway.

The Orch

Kathy comes to play the piano every year as a volunteer!

Notice

the differing

facial expressions!

With a graduated senior

Orch members in the cast

Loyal graduated orch members drove

all the way from college to see the show!

More orch members in the cast.

Cassidy who used to play the cello loves drama!

Tanner loved getting to tech again.

Subtle, Jean Val Jean, very subtle!

Many of the cast were crying.  I was shouting for joy!
Les Mis is an intense, dark play
that requires NON-STOP playing from the violins
for over 2 1/2 hours!!
Even tho it has a happy ending,
I was happy to see the end draw near so I could feel my
back again.
Some were debating whether it was live
or recorded orchestra one nite.  That made me Very Happy!  ;-)
So glad I don't have to get up early for Spoken Word in the morning.
I missed doing our concerts this weekend ~
Sacrificed for the stu's.
