1st Week Back to School

Had a Fantastic Week starting school again.
Here are some highlights that have made it Great:
1) had a student hug me over & over in the parking lot at Smith's so happy to have me as her teacher & excited again to play the violin ~ does it get any better than that?!!
2) had several parents just so excited to have their children play when meeting them at
 Back-to-School nite
3) had an increase from about 22 to 38 in the H.S. (including some transfer students who have filled in the gaps for a fuller orchestra)
4) got to perform for our opening teacher's meeting
5) received roses last nite after a wonderful tribute to teachers for Sunday's Broadcast
6) lots of support from people everywhere I dearly love

Grateful for a happy brand new start!
Very grateful

P.S. ~ It's interesting that in the Broadcast they talk about VIP's when I use this method:
My vocal teacher, Ewan Mitton, helped put it together with the former
Jeanie Leit Taylor who I performed w/ on a regular basis out at the Mental Hospital Ward (when we were called to help the patients weekly by singing in the ward choir).  Her wonderful teaching of the method is what sold me.
Ewan Mitton w/ her daughter (who has also helped w/ VIP Strings publications)
at A. Lawrence Lyon's funeral a couple of yrs ago.
