I love my Wed. nite Institute Teacher! He is truly one of the Best I've ever had. Not only has Institute attendance increased 3 times or more since he began, but I feel his genuine concern not only for individuals but in his lack of caring about all the material & personal prep he "packs" into his lessons. People's feelings (thoughts & testimony) are more important than if he gets it all in, thankfully!
Whenever I go I am always surprised at how much I take out w/ me. I always feel somehow like going on; like I'm really on the right track!
One of the most amazing things he said last nite was how his Mother beat cancer. She went thru all of the scary parts of hair loss & barefaced treatments, & was even told she only had 2 yrs to live! But did. That was 25 yrs & many missions ago.

Was also really encouraged by this talk I found a day or two ago on NieNie's blog. Thank you, Stephanie, for giving us the "meat." I was hungry!
If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest as well as the easiest times in life can be a blessing. |
